Newly opened in 2016 Carr Villa is a family run Bed and Breakfast in the village of Dinnington north of Newcastle City Centre and a 5 minute drive from Newcastle International Airport. The modern detached house offers three comfortable double en-suite rooms with a delicious cooked or continental breakfast served in out guest dining room. Dinnington village has a convenience store and restaurants. The White Swan is only a few minutes stroll away with its popular restaurant serving food 7 days a week. Walkers and nature lovers can enjoy the nearby Big Nature Reserve and the Reivers cycle route which passes through the village. A stay at Carr Villa gives you a quiet village location near the A1 with easy access to Newcastle City and the many tourist attractions of the North East. It is a perfect base to explore Hadrians Wall, Alnwick Castle, Beamish Museum, Durham and the stunning North East Coast. There is private parking with secure cycle storage on site, with Callerton Parkway or Kingston Park Metro station a 5 minute drive away.

There are some great walks and cycling routes near to us which I enjoy and do on a regular basis. Newcastle is a fantastic city to visit for its shopping, dining, arts and nightlife. I also enjoy the Northumberland coastline for its great beaches and stunning scenery.

Dinnington is a small rural village which is close to Newcastle City and Newcastle Airport. There are lots of cycle and walking routes which pass through the Village. Further afield we have plenty of National Trust properties including Cragside and Wallington Hall. The Northumberland coastline is stunning especially The Farne Islands, Lindisfarne and Alnwick castle. See Hadrians wall with a visit to Housesteads and Vindolanda near to the Market town of Hexham and Corbridge village. Durham and its Cathedral, Beamish museum are within an hours drive from us.
