This small and friendly guest house is situated in an imposing 16th century stone-built building, ideally located in the heart of the Teme Valley in Wales on the English border.
Castle Inn is a charming guest house offering comfortable accommodation with in-room amenities including a TV and tea/coffee making facilities.
The bar features a wood-burning stove and offers home-cooked food made from local ingredients. Local ales are served, as well as smooth bitter, draught stout, dry cider, lager and a good selection of wines. Well behaved dogs are allowed in some areas of the bar and the rooms.

Nestled in the beautiful Teme Valley the Castle Inn lies on the border of Powys in Wales and Shropshire in England. A stunning stone viaduct lies at the heart of the village and we are only a short distance from Offa’s Dyke and Glyndwr’s Way. We have visitors far and wide from the friendly local community to walkers, cyclists, across the UK and from overseas, it is genuinely a nice part of the world to visit. Not forgetting our guest rooms are separate from the main pub area ensuring a good nights sleep. BAR AND RESTAURANT open 7 nights a week, food served from 6-9pm Monday - Friday and Saturday & Sunday 12-3pm then 6-9pm. If you or anyone you have had contact with has COVID symptoms please do not visit us until its safe to do so. Customers will be asked to provide their contact details to aid with track and trace. Sanitizer stations are in place at the front and rear of the building. Smoking area is now located in the beer garden.
A family run business that have just moved in to the area in August 2017. We aim to treat all the staff and customer like one of our family.
