Castle View B & B offers a unique home from home experience within minutes walk of Conwy's historic magical town. With all it has to offer such as Conwy Castle, Plas Mawr, Aberconwy House, Telford's Bridge and Britain's Smallest House. The ancient market town and harbour are a designated World Heritage Site and views of the medieval walls can be seen from the en-suite bedroom window. The town offers a wide range of places to eat and fascinating individual shops for you to browse around. This is an ideal centre from which to explore all of North Wales including Snowdonia National Park, Caernarvon and Betwsy Coed. Within a short drive is the famous National Trust Bodnant Gardens with its 80 acres of magical gardens. Llandudno is only three miles away with its sweeping Victorian promenade, the Great Orme with tramway and cable cars and a fine selection of shops in the town. Beryl and Rob offer an exclusive, quiet peaceful experience and as our only guests you will feel pampered and relaxed. We serve traditional full Welsh breakfasts or smoked salmon and scrambled eggs or a variety of items for a continental breakfast with a Welsh twist including freshly made Welsh cakes.

We started doing B & B when we lived in Cornwall and decided that we would like to continue in a much smaller way when we came to live in Conwy. We have had wonderful guests from all over the world and look forward to welcoming lots more. My husband and I both volunteer at the National Trust Bodnant Gardens which are only a 15 minute drive from the house. There are 80 acres of formal and landscape gardens to explore so you could spent the day or take an hour or so to take in this special place.

This is an ideal area to base yourself to visit North Wales with easy access to the A55. The town is dominated by the 13th century castle and the harbour is always bustling with life. From here you can take a pleasure boat trip along the river or a ferry across to Deganwy. The Conwy Valley is an area of outstanding natural beauty with views up to the Snowdonia mountain range. Close to the town is Conwy Marina with its selection of grand ocean going yachts. From here you have a stunning view of the Great Orme at the entrance to the Conwy river. There is a wide selection of activities to do in the area, such as Surf Snowdonia, cycling, bird watching and the many walking trails in the valleys and mountains. There are four UNESCO World Heritage castles to visit Conwy, Caernarvon, Beaumaris and Harlech. There are stunning houses and gardens to visit including Plas Newydd on the banks of the Menai Straits, Penryn Castle near Bangor and the Hidden gardens of Cadnant outside of Menai town. From the bedroom window you can see the Conwy Mountain and Sychnant Pass and in the other direction the castle walls. At the end of a lovely day you can watch the sunset over the mountain.
