Constructed circa 1907, Cemlyn was built for the local Pharmacist Daniel Parry. His original shop was situated within a part of the building. The Cemlyn apartment is situated on the 1st floor where there are 2 bedrooms, a large open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen creating a very social space; an additional 3rd bedroom is located on the floor above. The terrace, accessible from the 1st floor, gives space for alfresco dining and has amazing views of the Castle, Mountains (including Snowdon) Royal St Davids Golf Course and the Sea. Portmeirion which has been featured in many films and TV programmes is a short drive away. The Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways can be accessed via Porthmadog. There are many footpaths to explore and you can be in the open countryside within a few minutes of leaving the front door. Harlech is probably most famous for its 13th Century Castle built by King Edward I. Located in the middle of the Snowdonia National Park on the West Coast of Wales. The town is surrounded by open countryside with magnificent views of Cardigan Bay and various mountains including Snowdon. Cemlyn is located on the High Street in the centre of town. Being a rural community there are mostly Independent shops here (sorry no Shopping Malls) but you can still get most of life's essentials - food, drink, restaurants, cafes, Ice Cream Shop etc. local Swimming Pool and Climbing Wall.
