Chapel View is situated in the famous village of Haworth. The cottage sleeps three people and has one double bedroom with additional sofabed, a bathroom, a fitted kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with a woodburner. Outside, the cottage has a small garden area with furniture. With plenty of Bronte history and the popular town of Skipton nearby, Chapel View is a lovely setting for a break in this beautiful area.
Home to the famous Bronte sisters, the small village of Haworth and the surrounding moorland inspired the women to put pen to paper and to write what have now become classics of English literature. With its myriad of curiosity and antique shops, alleyways and cobbled streets, there is a wonderful period atmosphere in this charming town set against the backdrop of countryside that would eventually be made famous in ‘Wuthering Heights'. The Worth Valley Railway is also nearby and was used in the film 'The Railway Children'. Trips around the old village of Oxenhope on the wonderful steam trains make for a special day out whilst The Bronte Parsonage museum, East Riddlesden Hall, and the Museum of Rail all make equally good attractions whilst the market town of Skipton – often called the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales – is only a short drive away.
