## The space This is a beautiful house in a quiet road that's close to some great locations - 2 tube lines in easy walking distance (7 mins - have timed it!) that'll take you straight into the heart of London. It's very close to Imperial West campus, Westfield Shopping Centre, Portobello Road, Ladbroke Grove etc. There are food mini-supermarkets/convenience stores within 3 minutes, a lovely pub, 2 neighbourhood theatres and great neighbourhood restaurants. And 2 very typical fish and chip shops! ## Guest access You can access the garden, which is really gorgeous when the sun's out (surprisingly often ... don't believe all that stuff about London weather). You have your own breakfast patio. You have your own laundry and ironing facilities. ## Guest interaction You can always call if you need any help. We'll give you the phone number. We live in the rest of the house upstairs. Our daughter lives downstairs, but is away at university most of the time. Neighbourhood information

## The neighborhood Great neighbourhood - connected to the Central and the Hammersmith and City line; a very local city bike hire stand; and lots of local pluses. As well as Westfield and Portobello, I particularly like the Mediterranean restaurants and shops on the Uxbridge road, within easy walking distance. Wormwood Scrubs is just on our doorstep - a great park and open space if you like to exercise, run or just relax The Pavilion Pub at the end of the road is very nice for a typical London experience - which you can always round off with a visit to Mick's Fish and Chip shop 3 minutes away. There is a Tesco minimarket and Nisa convenience store within 3 minutes' walk - I tend to you Nisa that has better fresh fruit and vegetables. The family that runs it is very nice too. We have Wormwood Scrubs Common (see pictures in slideshow) just minutes' walk away - it is one of the best London spaces for great wilderness/urban mixed views, as well as fantastic for walking, running etc. There are some great neighbourhood restaurants - Albertine's on Wood Lane a particular favourite of mine.
