Church Farm is situated in rural Norfolk on a working farm. To reach the property, guests will enter the village of Norton Subcourse. The entrance to the farm can be found via a gravel drive located opposite Norton Lodge. The farm is both arable and dairy. Set amongst green meadows and arable fields. A Saxon church is close by. Plenty of wild life and country walks. There is a good local pub within walking distance serving excellent food. Situated in the village is a community run shop. Available to guests is a private decked area and fenced off lawn reached by private paved access. This path is also giving access to the guest room.
Church Farm is a traditional farm house featuring many victorian period features and victorian advertising items which the hosts collect. The hosts are also interested in classic cars and the 1950's. There is always a classic Cadillac lurking not too far away!
Approximately six miles away is the old market town of Beccles with a host of shops, cafes and pubs. There is the local museum and Beccles Quay with riverside walks and fishing. Closer still is Raveningham Hall and Gardens. A historic 18th century hall with both formal and walled kitchen gardens. Other points of interest is Reedham Ferry. A two car ferry crossing the river Yare to the Reedham Ferry Public House and access to Gt Yarmouth. The Ferry is free for pedestrain patrons of the pub.
