Hi - I do hope you enjoy my Seaside and city flat in Portobello. If It is a perfect location to relax and enjoy the festival - with parking space and on the ground level with a private entrance - saves you the worry of expensive car parks and lots of stairs to get to your apartment. The flat is comfortable and has everything a couple could need for a short stay in Edinburgh.

I am outgoing and good fun and will endeavour to make sure that you have a wonderful break in Edinburgh. I love live music and going to gigs and singing. Travel is my passion and aim to try and see as many places as possible and get round some of America over the next few years. I also love Glasgow and highly suggest that you make the journey over to the west, if you get the time.

Portobello is a wonderful place only 10/15 mins on the no 26 bus (across the road from flat) up to Leith walk and the Playhouse Theatre and other festival venues. You can have the best of both worlds with sand, sea and the city. It is fabulous to walk along the promenade when it is sunny - get an ice-cream an relax from all the city madness. Great shops - Aldi across the road (open til 10 pm) and superb public baths. It is easy to drive down to the Border towns and North Berwick for the afternoon. Portobello has a few several good bars serving lovely food - my favourite place is Forresters and then the Dalriada at the weekend as they have live jam sessions and acoustic music. People walking along the Promenade is always a favourite and jogging!! it is a very safe environment. All the flats and neighbours show each other a common courtesy of respect. Ideal for single travellers who want to see the sights and have somewhere to feel relaxed and safe to come back to at night.
