Hi, i’m Clíodhna and a native of Belfast / Béal Feirste (meaning “mouth of the sand-bank ford”). My own personal background is that I have dealt with property rentals over the last number of years and as I love meeting new people from around the world and learning about new cultures and languages, I thought it would be a great experience to open my latest property to visitors to Belfast. This allows me to merge my two passions together...property and travel. I am excited to show you what Belfast has to offer as a great city, particularly in terms of superb cuisine, nightlife, shopping and varying social events. As a mother of three young girls, I love to go shopping, eat out, watch shows and play all types of sport. My favourites are Tennis, Gaelic football, Pilates and Running. I am also rather fond of popping into the odd Café and have enjoyed watching the café culture emerge here in Belfast. Although slightly biased, I feel Belfast has grown into a fabulous city and fingers crossed has left the dark and sad days of ‘The Troubles’ well and truly behind us. 😊
Superb neighbourhood. 2 minute walk brings you to the new University of Ulster. Across the road is Saint Anne’s Square which hosts The MAC (Metropolitan Art Centre), great for art, theatre and shows and a variety of eateries. In front of that is St Anne’s Cathedral and Belfast School of Art. The Cathedral Quarter of Belfast has an array of amazing bars and restaurants. Too many to mention but some of my favourite bars are; The Duke of York (live music), The Harp Bar (live music) and The Spaniard. However if traditional music is your thing then Madden's Bar and Kelly’s Cellars are great spots and only 0.6 miles away. Some lovely restaurants are Bullitt, Hadskis, The Muddlers Club and Made in Belfast. Castle Court and Victoria Square are great shopping centres in the locality as is St George’s market - perfect for the weekend. The Titanic Quarter and SSE Arena are only 1 mile away, whilst the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum is 5 miles away. If you fancy discovering the area, hiking is also possible. The nearest airport is George Best Belfast City Airport - 3 miles and the Belfast International Airport is 17 miles away.
