Our property is a Victorian detached house surrounded by beautiful gardens with mature trees and manicured lawns. We offer our guests a unique experience of peace and tranquility with comfort and luxury but also a place where guests feel at home. All our guest leave feeling relaxed and happy and always look forward to returning.

Our neighbourhood is located in a quiet conservation area of Edinburgh. Close to the City centre and whilst the city can easily be reached on foot or by bus guests get the sense of being in the countryside. No noise of traffic or busy streets only the sound of the singing birds. If you prefer a day in the hills or walking through lochs and reservoirs The Pentland Hills are only 20 minutes by car. Claremont House offers you the choice of a busy day in the city or just relaxing and allowing us to make you feel at home.
