Information about the host

Cockle Kitty was converted from a barn and is now a cosy cottage with biomass heating and a log burner. It is on Cliftonhill, our organic farm situated in a quiet corner of the Scottish borders just 3 miles from Kelso.

I have many hobbies especially travelling however the Scottish Borders is still my favourite place. I also enjoy tennis, all sport, cooking and gardening.

Kelso is a lovely market town with unique shops, delicious fresh produce and Granny jeans the Butchers shop. Kelso is a pleasant 3 mile walk or take a taxi and enjoy a lovely meal in the Cobbles. Floors Castle is the Oldest inhabited Castle in Scotland and it is worth a visit as are their grounds and the terrace cafe.
