The hotel was built in 1892 and has been a hotel since 1905. It is just a stones throw from the beach. The sweep of coast from Rhos on Sea to Colwyn Bay has a seen a major transformation with new projects and attractions breathing new life into the resort.

The hotel is on a quiet side street just off the promenade. The Toad hall restaurant is just around the corner and offer's some fine dining. More restaurants and pubs are all within a ten minute walk.
