Information about the host

When I first saw the flat it was in a very sorry state. I renovated it from top to bottom, completing at the start of 2017. I originally meant to sell it on, but I really loved the relaxed vibe and the sound of the birds in the plentiful nearby trees, so decided to keep it and share it with holidaymakers and visitors to the area. My first guests loved it so much that they got engaged here, so I guess I'm not the only one that spotted the vibe!

I'm originally from Glasgow and lived within a couple of miles of Stewarton for 12 years before moving to London. I run a business with my husband and we have three children.

Stewarton is a small but bustling Ayrshire town, with great amenities including a regular train service to Glasgow and Kilmarnock. It has many quaint, typically Scottish buildings and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. It is within easy reach of some fabulous golf courses and is about 20 minutes drive from the sea.
