I think staying in a timber cabin is unique, different, cosy - I built it in 2019 and it has been so welcomed by all who have stayed. ITs built to high spec, lovely bathroom and sitting room, and a very comfortable bed with an Aloe Vera mattress which is temperature controlled. The cabin sits separate to our home so you have peace and quiet to relax and enjoy your stay. There is a deck to sit on in good weather and all are within a lovely garden.
I Love to welcome and host new and past guests to the cabin and giving them good Scottish hospitality. My interest are very varied, I love any type of sport having played many throughout my life - additionally I love walking and riding my bike - swimming, ski-ing and gardening during the summer months.
The area is very quiet and peaceful in the old section of Markinch. There are lots of lovely areas within short driving distances - the well aired series of Outlander was filmed in Falkland literally down the road. The East Neuk is a beautiful drive through all the fishing villages and taking you round to the famous old town, home of golf and famous University of St Andrews. If you like walking the Pilgrims way goes from Markinch or if its a city trip you are looking for we are on a mainline station direct into Edinburgh. So we have a very varied amount of things you can do during your stay.
