Crafnant House is our beautiful Victorian home in the village of Trefriw, near Betws-y-Coed. Our house is decorated in a modern style with lots of interesting touches, whilst respecting its Victorian history. Off-street car parking is available on site, along with bike storage, and we have two guest lounges and a large garden for you to relax in. Breakfast is a very important part of your stay with us so it is always cooked to order using fresh local produce whenever possible. Sausage and bacon comes from our village butchers opposite, coffee is roasted in nearby Llandudno by Heartland Coffi and our bread and jams are homemade by Jasmine. We also offer our popular ‘daily specials’ as an alternative if you fancy something different, such as french toast, pancakes, and fresh waffles!
We've welcomed guests to Crafnant House since 2017 and are passionate about wonderful North Wales. We live on site with Bryn, our friendly Golden Retriever, and are always around to help and assist you should you need anything. We like to think we provide a relaxed but comfortable atmosphere akin to staying with friends rather than being anonymous in a hotel. We'll happily advise you on what to see and do and can definitely help you with what memorable experiences are available. As keen cyclists and walkers we'll also happily recommend places to go on foot or two wheels, along with a cafe recommendation or two!
We are situated in the heart of the village next to the Old Ship pub (which serves excellent food) and opposite our village butchers. Trefriw is a charming unspoilt and traditional Welsh village in beautiful Snowdonia, yet has easy access to all of the region's attractions such as Snowdon, Betws-y-Coed, Adventure Parc Snowdonia (an inland surf lagoon), the historic town of Conwy, Zip World attractions, beaches and coastline, Bodnant Garden, and others. Our village has two pubs, a cosy brasserie, a restaurant at The Princes Arms hotel and a cafe - all just a short walk away. Other pubs and restaurants can be found in nearby Llanwrst and Betws-y-Coed.
