My Bed & Breakfast is unique in that it specialises in en suite rooms for families, and also Groups. Two rooms have 5 bed spaces and one has 6, totalling 16 spaces, meaning families and Groups can all be together in the same room or, alternatively, choose to spread across more than one room.
I regularly climb our local Corstorphine Hill and also Arthur's Seat, Edinburgh's extinct volcano located near the City Centre. I am interested in art, which is great because Edinburgh has lots of Galleries, and in the summer of course we have the International Arts Festival when Edinburgh becomes a buzzing cultural magnet and our population doubles. So if you are thinking about Booking a room then speed is essential. I am also interested in science, which is great because right now (March/April) we have the Science Festival with lectures taking place all over town. Then the Film Festival and the Jazz Festival. Beat that!
My property is very close to The Royal Highland Centre, meaning we are very convenient for the many shows appearing at that venue, such as The Royal Highland Show, Scottish Motorcycle Show, Dog Show, Beauty Show, Truck Fest and many more. We are 3 bus stops from Edinburgh Zoo and 4 stops from Murrayfield Rugby Stadium. The Firth of Forth Coastline is 3 miles away offering some beautiful walks - plenty advice from me whatever you want to do. And there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance including Chinese, Indian, Italian and Carvery. Locally, Corstorphine Hill offers an exceptional exercise opportunity. Of course people want to visit Edinburgh City Centre and we are on the main artery into town with a choice of tram, or a bus from directly outside my property. The number 100 Airport Bus flies into town, missing most stops and takes you directly to the heart of the City Centre outside Waverley Station in only 10-15 minutes.
