Our Georgian house offers a quiet haven in the beautiful Co Armagh countryside. However, we are within easy travelling distance of the historic city of Armagh where there is lots to see - two Cathedrals, museums, courthouse and libraries. The accommodation offers a homely comfortable atmosphere and looks out onto an apple orchard and if you go to the end of the garden path and look south you can see the Mourne Mountains.
I am thoroughly enjoying our venture into hospitality - I so enjoy other people enjoying these lovely surroundings - it has so much to offer at any time of the year. I also am very keen on growing vegetables and salad leaves - and three years ago attained a long held ambition of getting a polytunnel and now am growing salad leaves to supply four local restaurants - one of which won the award this year for the best casual dining establishment in the whole of Ireland!
Our location is ideal to use as a base to travel around - many of our guests have done day trips to the Giants Causeway and around the Antrim coast as well as travelling to Belfast to go to the Titanic exhibition (absolutely brilliant) and a black taxi tour around the areas of Belfast made notorious during the 'Troubles' - thankfully behind us now!
