Treaslane Stable Rooms are the perfect base from which to explore Skye.

We are Neil and Mary Cameron and we look forward to welcoming you to the Stable Rooms. The Stable Rooms is located on our family croft, just 9 miles from Portree. We live in Culnacreag, the big white house next to the Stable Rooms. We want you to enjoy a peaceful visit, therefore we don't tend to come near the properties when they are occupied, unless you need us. That said, we are active on the croft most days, tending to the animals and the land, and we're always delighted to chat with our visitors. We will be delighted to give you recommendations of places to visit, ideas about where to visit, and share our wealth of local knowledge.

The Stable Rooms are located in the actively crofted township of Treaslane, 9 miles North of Portree on the Isle of Skye. You'll likely see horses, pigs, sheep and cows on our croft and in the surrounding fields. A colony of seals can be seen in the river most days, and dolphins have also been known to visit. Bird watchers will delight in spotting swallows, oyster catchers, heron and our local pair of sea eagles.
