Andy Davis is Scottish by descent but was born and raised in England. He is a keen golfer and along with his wife Kerry enjoys a spot of skiing in the winter months. Kerry enjoys horse riding and walking their dog Preia. She is keen on Rugby League, supporting her home town team Hull Kingston Rovers. They were married at Auchen Castle near Moffat in 2014 and spent the next four years searching for their dream home. In August 2018, that dream was realised when they became the owners of Creagan House and were able to move from Yorkshire to begin their new life here in Scotland. Andy is the person you’ll see front-of-house each morning, whilst Kerry is responsible for those amazing traditional Scottish breakfasts and the lovely shortbread biscuits you’ll find in your bedroom.
The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park offers some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world, yet is within an hour of Edinburgh and Glasgow. Direct from Creagan House, you can climb Ben Shian (Hill of the Fairies). You can cycle along the traffic-free NCN7, or walk the Rob Roy Way. Nearby, for more of a challenge, there are several Munros to bag. In Strathyre village, there is canoe hire, wildlife and historic guided tours, geocaching, orienteering and team building events. Lochearnhead watersports centre is only 4 miles away. Whilst numerous golf courses from the world-famous Gleneagles to the scenic St. Fillans are all within an hours drive. It is just a 30-minute drive to Crieff, home of the Glen Turret whisky distillery and ‘The Famous Grouse Experience’.
