This is a period detatched Victorian House set within a mature garden. It is accessed via a private drive, where there is free parking. It is only a five minute walk to the town centre, where you can access the many pubs restaurants and cafes. The house has been recently refurbished to a high standard. The bedrooms have all been named after malt whiskeys, so you can book your room by name online before arrival, hmmThe bedrooms have oak king size beds, with matching furniture. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided along with a flat screen tv and free wifi throughout. The en-suites have been tastefully re tiled/decorated and feature twin sinks. The walk in showers are a good size and benefit from mains pressure hot and cold water. The large breakfast room is fitted out with oak furniture and has a lounge area with a leather couch, where guests can watch tv/dvds or have a tea/coffee. There are a selection of breakfasts ( Scottish, Vegetarian, serials Continental, porridge etc.) We strive to source locally produced food and also have a selection of award winning jams. Guests can also make use of the front garden and facilities.
Welcome to Croft-Na-Coille, we hope you had a good journey. Gordon and I both worked for the police in Edinburgh. We retired and movwd to Pitlochry, where we have spent the last year renovating the B&B and Coach House. Although we are new to this business I have previous worked in the catering industry and have the necessary skills to look after the guests. Our main aim is to make your stay as comfortable as possible. If you are having a cooked breakfast our resident free range chickens (Gerti, Mayfair and Bertha) supply us with eggs so I hope you enjoy them.
There are many things to see and do in Pitlochry. If you like walking there are a number of marked treks around the Tummel, Ben Vrackie and to Killiecrankie. If you are more into adrenilun pursuits there is a bungie jump/swing at Garry Bridge. A cafe is located near to the dam where you can hire pedalows and fishing boats. There is also a local golf course and pitch and put for the less experienced. The Theatre which is only a short walk is well renowned and is open from April till December. There are a number of popular tourist hot spots, such as the pass of Killecrankie, House of Bruar/falls of bruar and the Queens View, which we would recommend going by car. There are a number of places to eat out and we would recommend Victorias Restaurant, Port-Na-Craig which overlooks the dam and is handy for the Theatre. Mckays restaurant /bar, which is about a five minute walk from the house and has live entertainment twice a week. If you wanted to venture further afield there is a local bike hire shop in the town centre
