We really enjoy working with owners to ensure that their properties are beautifully kept and maintained, and sharing the secrets of what the capital city, and Scotland have to offer our guests. Celia, who runs Beautiful Holiday Homes, has worked in both marketing and property for over 10 years. On the side she has also done a fair amount of restaurant reviewing, and having previously run a lifestyle management company she is always happy to share recommendations or go that bit further to ensure guests have the prefect stay. Sonia, joined the Beautiful Holiday Homes team from a luxury hotel management background and knows first hand the importance of customer service. Sonia is also a foodie who loves to travel herself so knows first hand what guests expect. We only take on properties that the we ourselves would like to stay in and currently have a beautiful selection of properties that is constantly growing, so if the first property you enquire about isn't available then we will always try and help by suggesting another lovely property that is. Please do not hesitate to get in touch should you be thinking about a trip!
With 2 local pubs, the village butcher, baker, paper shop... and the weekly visit from the fish & chip van (on a Thursday) Norham really does offer a perfect location to escape to. This cottage has recently been tastefully renovated from top to bottom to ensure you are comfortable during your stay. The cottage sleeps 4 guests between two bedrooms. The Property: The property has a welcoming living room with an electric fire, a smart TV and Wifi. The living room leads into a bright and surprisingly spacious kitchen with a door leading out to a private terrace. From the private terrace there is also access to the back lane which leads to the river. Upstairs there is a large kingsize double bedroom with ample storage space and a travel cot, if required. There is also a twin room which is slightly smaller but extremely quiet & comfortable. On the first floor you will also find the family shower room and loo. The Neighbourhood: The neighbourhood is extremely special in that it offers beautiful landscapes with both hill walking and stunning beach walks. The Neighbourhood: The neighbourhood is extremely special in that it offers beautiful landscapes with both hill walking and stunning beach walks. There are several lovely villages and towns both on the coast and inland which can be explored by using Norham as a base, or.....if you want to you can just stay put. The joy of Norham is that the village itself offers all the basic supplies you could need...the pub serves good food and the butcher sells delicious pies...along with wine and local cheese! Getting Around: If you want to explore the wider area then a car is required. There is a regular bus route running though the village on a regular basis but we would highly recommend a car so you can make them most of the area.
