Venture up stone steps to a cosy cottage for 2. Cruise is a small self-catering holiday cottage located above the old stables in the traditional farmyard. A Grade II listed building in our farmyard sympathetically converted by local Cumbrian craftsmen - lime plastered wiggly walls, oak floors, wooden beams, handcrafted oak doors and stairs, hand forged latches and handles. Cruise offers a relaxing open plan area in which to relax, eat and pour over maps to plan routes for the following day's activity. The kitchen is fully equipped kitchen with electric oven, microwave, kettle, toaster. The bedroom is reached by climing a couple of oak crafted steps and has an en-suite shower room. A wood pellet boiler provides heating and hot water .

I live at Widewath Farm with my husband and 2 sons. We enjoy everything outdoors!! The Farm, family and my part-time job as a Farm Conservation Adviser take up much of my time. In my spare time (!) I enjoy cycling, horse riding and walking with family and friends. We enjoy having people to stay and are keen to help them make the most of this amazing part of the Lake District. Never a dull moment here!!
