We are Tracey & Robbie and we stumbled across Culdees whilst visiting family in 2018. The Castle had been languishing in a state of disrepair for over 50 years but still a magnificent building. It was love at first site and we eventually became the new custodians of Culdees Castle and Mansion House in July 2019. We live in the mansion house next to the castle with our children and Tracey’s parents. Everyone in the family is committed to restoring the site into something magical for future generations to enjoy. We have spent a lot of time clearing the site and are now concentrating on a full renovation plan. The first phase is our luxury Glamping site and on site shop/tea room. We aim to clear the castle’s rear courtyard by 2021 and turn this into a unique wine bar. We hope to be able to offer the venue as a wedding and events location too in 2021. We pride ourselves on respecting the nature around us and have designed our unique glamping site to nestle quietly into its woodland surroundings.

Your area has direct views of Historic Culdees Castle which is currently being restored. The castle is back lit at night adding to the breathtaking views across the estate and into the Highlands beyond.
Our site is situated just outside the Pretty Village of Muthill which has a golf course, award winning restaurant, local pub and takeaway pizza & local Ice cream. It is only 4.9miles to the local historic town of Crieff with an array of Artisan Shops, galleries, coffee shops, restaurants and Bars. Crieff is also home to the Caithness Glass Centre and the all year round Christmas Shop! Gleneagles Golf club and facilities are also only 3 miles away.
