Information about the host

Cwm Mill has been fully renovated and recently refurnished to create a very comfortable, modern home with all the amenities and facilities to which we are now expect. However it was first built in 1823 as a working water mill so its full of history and character too. Nestled at the foot of the Black Hill and alongside the River Monnow, it could not be more perfectly placed as a base from which to explore the Black Mountains & Brecon Beacons, the Wye Valley and the Welsh Marches.

Glynis & I are retired but love to be at Cwm Mill but we also we love to introduce it to new admirers. Guests have the run of the house and grounds during their stay.

We are surrounded by a livestock farm with numerous attractive walks available from the house's front door.
