Information about the host

The Decca was Shetlands Radio Navigational Signal Station. Which we purchased in 2002 and have over the space of 8 years converted into 8 delightful houses and apartments, suitable for visitors to Shetland, be it for work, rest or play! It is enclosed by a large garden area, with cream wooden fencing and has private parking. Each apartment has its own private entrance, and its own facilities.

The Decca is set on the edge of town. It is 5 minutes drive into the heart of the town. From October - March, a car is recommended as there is no pavement or street lighting for the first 5 minutes walk, thereafter it is 15 mins to the nearest hotel, 20 minutes to the local supermarket, shops and restaurants.
