Information about the host

The property was built in the late 1800's and first used as a guest house in the 1920's. original features can still be seen in the lobby of the property. We fell in love with the property because of it's central location ,large lounge with a sunny aspect and open plan bar and dinning area. The hotel has four steps from the street to the main front door, it is spread over two floors, having three ground floor rooms and all remaining bedrooms are up one flight of stairs. All bedrooms are en-suite facilities consisting of a shower, toilet and sink. All public areas are located on the ground floor, therefore easily accessible by people with mobility issues. we also have two family rooms and a room that can have additional bed/ cot added. We are situated close to the sea front, near to the iconic Blackpool tower and ballroom, Winter gardens , local Houndshill shopping centre,Madame Tussauds, Sea-life centre , Central pier,Viva,Grand Theatre. Blackpool zoo is just a bus journey away/ 2 minutes in the car, with its own car-park at just £2.50 for the day, 2018 saw the opening of the new Project Elephant. The zoo has just got a new herd of elephants including a baby . Stanley park is a nice place to spend some time with the family . The pleasure beach and Blackpool water park are just a short tram journey away . The casino is within 5 minutes walk as well as some nice restaurants and bars. Blackpool North train station is a 7 minute walk. We have a number of golf course close by that are with in easy driving distant from the Guest house.
