Glangwili Mansion

The award-winning Glangwili Mansion is set on the edge of Brechfa Forest, in the beautiful yet largely undiscovered Gwili Valley. This 5-star boutique bed and breakfast offers individually designed suites just a few miles north of bustling Carmarthen. Guests have access to free WiFi in all public areas.

With rich leather sofas, vibrant original art and velvet and silk throws, each unique room at Glangwili Mansion also has a flat-screen TV and DVD player. Large private bathrooms have bathrobes, slippers and a hairdryer.

The peaceful forest around the Mansion is ideal for walkers and cyclists. Both the National Botanic Gardens of Wales and Aberglasney Gardens are 30 minutes’ drive, as is the ancient coastal town of Laugharne.

Breakfast is served in The Gwili Room and includes a selection of continental options and hot breakfasts made to order, including a traditional full Welsh or vegetarian breakfast.

Glangwili Mansion has been awarded a 5-star rating and a Gold Award from Visit Wales for 6 years running. In addition, Glangwili Mansion won the 2015 Visit Wales Gold Award for Best Place to Stay - Guest Accommodation, and the Gold Award for Small Serviced Accommodation of the Year 2015 for the Carmarthenshire Tourism Awards, in addition to the 2015 National Tourism Awards.

Glangwili Mansion is a very special place that we have put our heart and soul into. This culminated in us winning Best Place to Stay, Guest Accommodation in The National Tourism Awards for Wales 2015 / 2016 as well as Small Serviced Accommodation of the Year in the Carmarthenshire Tourism Awards for the second time running!

We are a husband and wife team (George & Linda Reid) and we have a simple philosophy - to provide guests with luxurious, comfortable accommodation that is relaxed and informal, with a service that’s second to none. We love what we do and enjoy meeting guests from all over the world - sharing this beautiful place and trying to make your precious holiday just that little bit more special and memorable.

We are passionate about our beautiful County (Carmarthenshire), and can give you lots of ideas about what you can see and do in the area whether its Walking, Beaches, Castles, Shopping, Gardens etc, it's all available within 30 mins of Glangwili Mansion. Add to this the wealth of fantastic eating places within a short drive and you have a short break to remember!
