As you can see I'm grey and bald. Its been a hard life! I studied engineering and then computing and then started an IT company which kept me occupied for the next 30+ years. My wife and I are grandparents, but there's life in us yet. We love travelling. Europe (Germany in particular), USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Namibia and South Africa. I want my guests to come and enjoy my houses in and around Stornoway, experience the lifestyle and the stunning scenery. Get out and see the place! Even in bad weather, its beautiful.

Property information

My wife and I bought this house as a holiday home in 2006, primarily for the stunning views, and yet within striking distance of Stornoway. We had several long term tenants first and only started renting for holidatys in 2015.

Neighbourhood information

The house is situated in a quiet rural setting, surrounded by sheep, rolling moor land, a magnificent view over the sea and a handful of great neighbours. You can see planes taking off and landing at Stornoway airport and see some parts of the town from the rooms at front of the house. Quite often you can also see cruise liners making their way in to the harbour.
