A spacious three bedroom detached house located on the Westside of the Isle of Lewis. The house sleeps six guests comfortably and enjoys spacious gardens to sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We can provide two small beds for additional guests. Directions: Travelling from Stornoway proceed along the A857 Barvas Moor Road. On arriving at Barvas follow the road round to the right. Proceed through the village and take the turning on the right after the hair salon (Cutting Room & Allure Beauty) the property is located on the second turning on the left up this road.

We are a local family who love to have people come and stay in our property and enjoy their island experience.

Our property is located on the Westside of the Isle of Lewis (Na h-Eileanan an Siar) Scotland, United Kingdom. Barvas benefits from a number of local amenities including petrol station, minimarket, garage and hair salon and is conveniently located for access to most of the island. Stornoway (Lewis’ main town) is approximately 11 miles away and provides a generous amount of amenities including supermarkets, shops and leisure centre. The main road leads towards Ness (the Butt of Lewis) which has it’s own minimarket, butchers, laundrette and local shops, there are a number of popular beaches and tourist attractions on this route. Travelling further up West takes you on the Westside circular which passes the Arnol Blackhouse, Gearranan Blackhouse village and the famous Callanish Stones with it’s own visitors centre. Also the Barvas machair is located nearby. The machair is a lovely area for walking and taking in the beautiful scenery
