Dunroamin is positioned on the hill above Sennen Cove. This wild part of Cornwall is awash with dramatic headlands, crashing surf, hidden beaches and stunning views of a gorgeous coastline. The south west coastal path is within easy reach of this delightful holiday home which is the perfect location to explore, be it walking the coast path, going to the beach or visiting the local tourist attractions.
Sennen Cove is located between Cape Cornwall to the North and Land's End to the South. It is the most westerly surfing hot spot in the UK and is often the first beach to experience any large Atlantic depressions as they approach the UK. In January 2014 the Cove was on the front page of many national newspapers as Storm Hercules struck and breaking waves were photographed towering over the village. The beach is monitored by the RNLI life guards during the summer season and is a permanent base for a Tamar class and an inshore lifeboat. There is a slipway which can be used to launch small boats into the harbour and a number of pubs, restaurants and cafes that overlook the bay. Land's End is a stunning granite promontory that is the most south western point on the mainland. The tourist attraction that was built there in the 90s provides some great entertainment for children while overlooking the Longships lighthouse and further west towards the Scilly Isles.
