The Dunshee self catering apartment provides views of the garden and is equipped with a bedroom, a private lounge, bathroom and kitchen.
The Dunshee King Suite is equipped with a bedroom, a private lounge, en suite and views of mountains and sea.
Dunvegan village is only 5 minutes away by car. There are several shops, restaurants, cafes and take away establishments. Dunshee is in a rural setting and therefore a car is necessary. Public transport is 4 miles away from the property.
Dunshee stands in a south facing mature garden in a quiet settlement of Roskhill, on the banks of the river Roskhill. The garden is visited by a wide selection of song birds. While sitting in the garden on a sunny day, you will hear the river Roskhill, the breeze rustling the leaves or the sound of a curlew calling as it flies across the moor. On clear nights in the winter you can see a beautiful starry sky (Dark Sky) and occasionally the Auraora Borealis on cold frosty nights. The apartment is cosy and warm and very well equipped for all of your needs.
Sue and Warren fell in love with the Isle of Skye while on Honeymoon in the 1980’s. We moved to Dunvegan in 1995 and have enjoyed every minute. Our children have grown up and moved to Edinburgh and love to come home for peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We really enjoy hospitality and meeting new visitors from all over the world. We hope you enjoy your stay and you might find that Skye draws you back too.
Dunshee is set in a small settlement just off the main road. We have three of the main attractions close by, Dunvegan castle, Neist point and the Coral beaches. Dunvegan is 2 miles away wit an excellent restaurant, shops, garage, post office, bakery, take away, and several cafes. We are surrounded by mountains and our wonderful coast line. We have a wide variety of wild life such as red deer, sea eagles, seals and roe deer. Although Skye is a busy island there are still wild places where you can walk for hours without meeting anyone. <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"/> <title>Model</title> </head> <body> <div class="page" title="Page 1"> </div> </body>
