Durn House

Set in its own private grounds, Durn House is an elegant 18th-century Georgian mansion house which retains many original features, such as large open fireplaces, an impressive stone spiral staircase and spacious individually designed guest rooms. Free WiFi is available throughout and private parking is available on site.

A flat-screen TV with a DVD player, bathrobes, and toiletries are provided with each Durn House guest room. You will also find a welcome tray with fresh mil available on request.

Guests can enjoy a continental or full Scottish breakfast and home-baked bread and pastries, freshly baked each morning. Durn House serves breakfast, luncheon, afternoon teas as well as evening dining for guests and non residents alike. The property's head chef selects fresh, local ingredients and the menus change regularly. You can also enjoy a tasting menu of 3, 5 or 7 courses.

Guests can relax by the fire in the main drawing room, or watch TV or a DVD in the private guest lounge. The 'Gentleman's Club' provides a relaxed atmosphere where guests can play a game of pool, watch the wide-screen plasma TV or listen to some music.
