Eddies is a lovely coastal retreat right next to Hele Beach, on the outskirts of Ilfracombe, North Devon. It is a three bedroom house with front patio overlooking the promenade and beach, and a private enclosed patio for dining to the rear. It has undergone a complete renovation finishing in July 2020. Eddies would normally be available for weekly or fortnightly rental with some flexibility outside the peak holiday season, but due to the current situation a full 24 hours will be left between cleaning and the next guests' arrival, hence only six night bookings (arriving Saturday and departing Friday) are available when booking.

Shaun and Mel live accross the street in one of the cottages opposite. Having grown up in Hele, Shaun is truly a local and can help with many queries about the local area. In between welcoming guests, friends and family, and walking the dog, feeding the chickens etc, Shaun is a part time lobster fisherman. They both work locally, and the couple have a small flock of sheep with one of the neighbours.

Eddies is ideally placed for walkers on the south west coast path route and overlooks Hele Beach which is a family friendly sandy and rocky beach. There is on free street parking, and on the rare occasion that the road is full, there is a low cost car park approx. 100 meters to the side of the property. The Snackin' Kraken café opposite sell hot and cold drinks, informal dining and children's beach toys. There is a well serviced grocery store in the petrol station opposite the entrance to Beach Road and the nearest pub is the Hele Bay Pub, two minutes walk away.
