Information about the host

Rainbow Wood Lodge is situated in one of Bath’s most sought after locations. Perfect for those who love both rural and urban getaways, Rainbow Wood Lodge boasts a rare address in both a National Trust park and World Heritage city. Under one mile from the city centre and with the National Trust’s Bath Skyline Walk merely ten metres from your doorstep, you can choose between the tranquility of the countryside, the excitement of city life, or both! Up to six guests can choose from three bedrooms. The first boasts beautiful views of Bath beyond the valley. Both master bedrooms come equipped with king size beds, while the third offers an Alpine-chalet styled bunk bed, perfect for children or adults alike. Our newly refurbished kitchen offers comfort and convenience, complete with a kitchen-ware, cooker, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle & Nespresso machine. You will also have a selection of tea and coffee, and basic cooking ingredients. In the lounge you will find two sofas seating six people. Our smart television has access to Netflix, iPlayer, & YouTube, along with various other entertainment apps. Plenty of DVDs, books and board games are available too.

Hi, I’m William. I love making memories with family and friends, and sharing special moments together. I hope I can help you make some memories of your own too! I was born in Brighton. I have lived in Manchester, Paris, New York, and Shakespeare’s Stratford-Upon-Avon, but Bath will always be my first home. I would love to recommend you my favourite sites and hidden hangout spots to make your stay all the more memorable and unique. My main interests are film, art, music, history, rock climbing, football, chess, philosophy, physics & psychology.

The property provides secure parking for two vehicles, with easy access to Bath city centre, and beyond. For those wishing to walk, Widcombe Hill’s pavement is relatively steep (around 7 degrees gradient), so I recommend the more mellow, and scenic route through Smallcombe vale, part of the Bath Skyline Walk. I can provide routes I have planned on google maps for you. With little over 1 mile of walking through Smallcombe vale you will arrive at Pultney Bridge, the Weir, Bath Abbey and the world famous Roman Baths. Bath Train and Bus Station are around 1 mile away. The University of Bath is half a mile away. Prior Park Gardens are a fifteen minute walk away. Please note the gates are under CCTV surveillance, although rest assured as Bath is rated the second safest city in the world! I love giving my guests recommendations tailored to their desires, so don't hesitate to ask!
