Set within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, the 4-star Fascadail House -Tranquil Place in Gaelic- BNB offers scenic loch and mountain views. Free Wi-Fi and free on-site parking are provided, and the hotel has its own garden.

Am en-suite bathroom, TV and tea/coffee making facilities are featured in all Fascadail rooms, and some overlook the garden and loch. The King Room comes with a four-poster bed and an adjoining living area.

A full Scottish breakfast can be enjoyed in the dining room, where guests can sit and watch the wildlife in the garden through the large bay windows.

Miles of forest trails are on offer through the Arrochar Alps, which can be reached within 30 minutes on foot. Loch Lomond is a 2-minute drive, and the popular hiking spot of Ben Arthur (The Cobbler) is situated on the other side of the loch.

Information about the host

The property stands in its own two acres of ground with plenty of free parking. It is a traditional Victorian building, yet has contemporary rooms with a Scottish flare! It is situated on the A814 right beside Loch Long. You leave the popular A82 directly onto the A83 which will bring you right into the village.

Stuart and Brenda MacCrimmon met each other in Norway. She’s American and he’s British. The two of them love to travel, and buying a BNB to call their own and to host people from around the world, is their dream come true! They love the outdoors of Scotland, especially the tri-Loch area of Arrochar. There’s nothing like the western Highlands and west coastal lochs of Scotland!

Arrochar is a lovely village full of friendly and eclectic people. Some grew up in the village and still live in it, while other villagers have literally come from several corners of the Earth. Everyone is willing to help you find your way around, find something good to eat, and find some new friends along the way!
