Forsythia Cottage is A traditional 19th century thatched cottage that has benefitted from a 21st century annexe added to it. The generously sized double room is next door to the large modern bathroom. Guests have use of the comfortable lounge opposite the guest bedroom which has a flatscreen T.V. with BT sport and Netflix included. Through the lounge patio doors is the al fresco Dining area and the large, mature, south facing garden. Guests use this as an entrance to the property via keycode lock and provides a degree independence in coming and going. The host can provide surf board hire, wetsuit hire, bike hire and instruction. We are situated 50 metres from the North Devon Tarka trail and a short 8 minute walk via the trail will take you into the heart of Braunton and all its facilities.

Steve Cox is an experienced host and has spent all his adult life looking after people. He was Head of one of Oxfordshires out county residential outdoor centres for over 20 years.

Braunton is a vibrant, surf oriented place with many bars and restaurants. A short drive away are the beaches of Saunton Croyde and Woolacombe. The Tarka trail is situated at the end of our lane and the cottage makes and ideal base from which to explore by foot or bike. I have 4 bikes for hire with all equipment provided.
