A lovely mews cottage in a Grade II listed building situated right in the centre of a traditional market town, The French Horn Cottage is only 35 minutes by car from Stansted Airport. The cottage is a 5 minute walk to Ware Train Station, where you'll be able to board direct services into London Liverpool Street, (approx. 45 minute journey). The cottage benefits from private parking. There are lots of restaurants, pubs, a supermarket and shops all within a very short walking distance from the cottage. The cottage is part of a renovation from a former, locally well-known public house. The cottage has recently undergone a refurbishment. It's a quaint, period house with original features and all modern amenities incl. high-speed broadband and digital television to guarantee your stay is comfortable, enjoyable and stress-free. The cottage is fully managed by a professional team who have high standards as we know you do.
There is lots of tourist information provided in the cottage and discounts for guests are on offer in some of the restaurants. Ware is a picturesque town set in East Hertfordshire. It looks and has everything you'd expect from a traditional, English town including a museum, (have you heard of the Great Bed of Ware - think Henry VIII?), as well as a variety of restaurants from Thai to Turkish to Italian to Greek.
