We hope you love our quiet place in Herne Hill opposite the beautiful Brockwell park. The neighbourhood has a village feel with a Sunday farmers market, local breweries under the rail arches and independent shops and cafes. Buzzing Brixton is just 10 minute bus/20 minute walk for London's hippest nightlife and restaurants. The train from Herne Hill takes just 9 minutes to central London (Victoria) and there is a train roughly every 15 minutes. Or simply tube in to town from Brixton.

Herne Hill has a village feel with it's weekly Sunday farmers market - where we often pick up fresh produce to cook a roast dinner or simply graze on all the amazing food on offer! In the summer we take a selection of food over to the park with a blanket to enjoy a picnic. The area also boasts two breweries under the rail arches where you can stop in for some local ale. There is an abundance of coffee shops, pubs and restaurants providing all types of cuisine in Herne Hill. The local Lido (outdoor swimming pool) is also a highlight of the area, especially in the warmer months. If you don't fancy a swim, we recommend grabbing a coffee in the Lido cafe overlooking the pool. Our place is opposite Brockwell park, arguably London's loveliest of green spaces with it's own walled garden, local parakeets, tennis courts, BMX track and duck ponds. It's perfect for a stroll in all weathers and at the top of the hill there is an amazing view of London's skyline - very romantic! Just down the road is Brixton which is one of London's trendiest, upbeat spots. Brixton Village is a covered market place full of independent restaurant chains.
