Garth Engan B&B in Private Annexe and Garden Area

Garth Engan is a one bed room bed and breakfast with a private lounge located in the Snowdonia National Park, a 15-minute drive from Harlech, with a number of sandy beaches a short drive away, including Shell Island (Mochras). There is free WiFi access available and free parking on site.

Each morning Garth Engan offers guests a full Welsh breakfast made using locally sourced ingredients. The cooked breakfast is accompanied by homemade bread and preserves. The property provides it's own private water that is treated via UV lamp and two stage filtration.

The private guest lounge features a log burning stove and a TV with Freeview channels and a selection of DVDs. As well as a private shower room, guests have exclusive use of the garden terrace which can be accessed from the guest bedroom.

There are several country walking routes in the immediate area including direct access to the Taith Ardudwy Way and Llanbedr village boasts 3 thriving public houses, which both serve food.

Expect a warm welcome in the hill at our modernised cosy stone cottage close to the Afon (river) Artro and enjoy the mountain views from your own private garden terrace. Please note that we have private water that is treated (UV lamp and two stage filtration) on our property making it safe to drink.

Garth Engan is situated 2 miles up the valley of Cwm Bychan from the busy little village of Llanbedr. The road to the lake at Cwm Bychan does turn into a single car lane for half a mile or so before you get to our B&B but with plenty of passing places. Llanbedr has two popular public houses, 2 shops, bicycle hire, adventure company, river for canoeists and easy access to beaches an castles.
