Lincoln's is a one bedroomed flat on the second floor of an 18th Century listed Georgian house. Be prepared for the quirky! Some of the staircases and corridors are narrow - these were probably the servants quarters and, as you can imagine, the Listed Buildings Officers are not happy with great changes to such buildings! They are also very rarely going to give permission for a lift to be installed, as the ambiance and character of such a building needs to be maintained. However, it is well worth the experience of staying in such a building which, in its heyday as a private house was a definite landmark in the town centre. The car park may appear to be very public - but don't be deceived, as there are CCTV cameras on every corner - to keep the place nice and secure.
