Come and stay in one of our three Luxury Glamping Pods set in the beautiful Northumberland National Park boasting amazing views from your own personal terrace & BBQ Area. All of our pods are fully equipped with made up beds, towels, toiletries, loo roll, hairdryer & a Welcome Pack containing three cereals, tea, coffee, sugar & milk in the fridge. You also have a complimentary "real coffee tray" There is an added bonus of our separate Lapland BBQ Hut for those times when the English weather isn't playing ball! We have plenty of things to make your trip more relaxing including braziers, BBQ packs & marshmallows to toast under the beautiful Dark Skies. Wren Pod sleeps up to 4 guests & Owl and Curlew sleep up to 5 guests. Owl and Curlew have a bunk bed above the double bed & all pods are identical in size. You have your own personal terrace with a boot box, shoe rack, garden games, coat hooks & a picnic table & chairs. For separate hire is our amazing Lapland BBQ Hut for something that little bit different and special. There is also a play & picnic area for children and the site is completely enclosed and safe. Our site has a non-smoking and no pets policy.

GlamPods Northumberland is set here in the Northumberland National Park at Troughend our working family farm just out of the village of Otterburn. I live here with my husband Philip and our three children, 2 boys who are both involved in farming and agriculture and our daughter and her ponies along with our terriers who I'm afraid to say think they own our guests and can often be found sitting inside the Pods looking out which they know they are now allowed to do! Otterburn is a small village set in the beautiful Rede valley with rolling hills and landscapes. It has plenty to do and see, amazing wedding venues, local restaurants and amenities. This is a place to truly switch off, unwind and get back at one with nature.

For those of you with a thrill for adventure there is the nearby Kielder Water with its Giant Zipwire, Watersports, amazing mountian biking and cycle tracks, Osprey walks and of course the reservoir. The beautiful Northumbrian coast is but a 45 minute drive away. Local market towns of Hexham and Morpeth are 30 minutes away and for the retail therapists the city of Newcastle upon Tyne and Gateshead's Metro Centre are a 45 minute drive.
