Glen Nevis Holiday Cottage is situated at the entrance to Glen Nevis close to the foot of Ben Nevis and the end of the West Highland Way and is an ideal location for touring the Western Highlands. The cottage has i double bedroom ; 1 twin bedroom; Lounge with open fire and central heating; fully fitted kitchen with fridge freezer, washing machine , electric cooker ,microwave and table and 4 chairs. Myself and my husband run this holiday cottage which is close to our own home which means we are available for guests when required. We look after the garden of the cottage and also the vegetable garden which is beside it. We both belong to the area and can provide the guests with local information .
Fort William with its restaurants, bars entertainment and recreational facilities is a short walk from the cottage and in the other direction there is beautiful Glen Nevis and access to Ben Nevis. There is skiing and mountain biking at Nevis Range which is 6 miles away and also at Glencoe which is 15 miles away. The Caledonian Canal is a favourite place to visit with its history and accessibility for taking boat trips,and there are boat trips on Loch Linnhe and other points along the coast. The surrounding area is known for all summer and winter climbing as well as fishing walking, cycling and sailing. There are many sites of historic and archaeological interest with the West Highland Museum in Fort William full of interesting objects and history.
