Set in 2 acres of grounds in the heart of the historic and scenic Glencoe, our site is based around an original highland croft. Our spacious caravans are all less than 5 years old and our cute log cabin is a firm favorite with those wanting a cosy place to stay. Mountains surround us and so views from the accommodation are spectacular. We welcome pets (except in the platinum caravan) and are blessed with several low level walks in the area, plus the River Coe to swim in! Our purpose built drying room is available for those that like to venture into the outdoors whatever the weather. We offer a fantastic base to explore the area, or just to relax and let the views soak in.
We bought the business in early 2007 to enjoy living in what is our outdoor playground. We have invested a great deal in upgrading the site over the last 9 years and we still love meeting new people and helping guests make the most of their stay. Our family has expanded over the past few years but when we get the time, we are both keen outdoor people and so can give first hand knowledge of hill walks (Keith runs Go Glencoe, a mountain guiding businesses based here on site), mountain biking or things to do with a young family. Keith has recently become addicted to skiing and is up at Glencoe Mountain as often as possible!
We are very lucky to have a fantastic pub called the Clachaig Inn only 20 minutes walk away, they have live music every Saturday night and regular real ale festivals. Around Glencoe there are some lovely short low level walks, ideal for dogs and little ones, the river Coe in summer is a lovely place for a refreshing dip. Within a reasonable drive you can see distilleries, castles, stunning beaches, film set scenery and of course dozens of mountains to climb.
