Glendevon Central B&B is a genuine "high Victorian" (1881) family home that has been sensitively, fully renovated. This has been done in a way that promotes and enhances the house's Victorian feel and many period features, while also providing all the modern comforts that you would expect in a comfortable B&B. the restoration of Glendevon Central, which is also our family home, has been a labour of love, that is reflected in the quality of experience that we offer to our guests. As our house is Victorian, we are however unable to offer a lift and our guests should be aware that our guest rooms are located on the upper floor.

We are Catherine and Stuart, the husband and wife team who along with our two little doggies Bonnie and Honey, own and run Glendevon Central B&B. We just love meeting guests from all over the world and helping them to experience the many attractions of our home city of Edinburgh. We are proud to be Edinburgh natives and we feel that we are well placed to advise and guide our guests in a non intrusive, friendly manner.

Glendevon Central B&B is located in a quiet "leafy" residential cul de sac with unrestricted parking. The B&B is located almost exactly centrally between the City Centre and the port area of Leith. We are very close to bus stops and excellent public transport links. It is 20 to 25 minute walk to the City Centre and likewise to the restaurants and other attractions of the port area of Leith. We are very close to Leith Walk, our local main thoroughfare, which has a high concentration of excellent pubs and restaurants, all within easy walking distance of the B&B. We offer the peace and quiet of a residential cul de sac with easy access to all the tourist attractions of the city via a pleasant 20 / 25 minute walk or excellent and regular buses. In this respect, we like to think our location offers "the best of all worlds" in terms of location.
