Whilst the house is in a central position in the town it provides a restful haven after a day’s outing. The modern handmade gally kitchen leads to a spacious garden where on a bright evening guests can relax with refreshments whilst enjoying the striking beauty of the Mourne Mountains. The Townhouse has a rustic charm with many original features adding character to the house such as high ceilings and original pitch pine doors and floorboards.

John, a native of Newcastle, has immense experience as a poet and actor. Liz has a flair and passion for creative cookery and meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds. She has a great knowledge of the local area and takes pride in sharing it with guests.
