The town benefits from bus and railway services, shops, bars restaurants and cafes, a beautiful beach, mountain views and good road links. The older parts of town are around the harbour area where many walkways take you through the older areas on 'the rock' up into the hills beyond. Unless you want to head further afield you can park the car on arrival and forget about it until you leave if you want to.
