We have a 2 acre garden which we love and spend a lot of time creating new garden designs. We are hoping to create an orchard this next year with fruit trees and wild flowers so that our guest can enjoy walking around the garden. The orchard will provide us and our guests with homemade jams, We have hens who enjoy roaming around the garden and the woods. We love meeting new people and enjoy listening to the stories of life, but we also love to treat our guests like they are royalty because that's why we are here. The wildlife in the garden is owls, deer, frogs, herons, nuthatches, tree creeper, buzzards, sparrow hawks, jays and many other birds etc. My sister has birds of prey and if organised can offer a hawk walk or an owl experience hour with truly magnificent birds, much disgust to our hens as they have to be locked in their pen for their own safety.

In each room we have TV, tea and coffee making facilities or we are happy to make you a drink to relax in the garden room, dinning room or in the garden. If you come to our home and are celebrating a special occasion, we like to provide you with little extra luxuries, Our house is in the middle of the biggest forest in County Durham, it is a old historical hunting lodge built in 1827 by the Aristocrat the Surtees Family who had Redworth Hall has their main accommodation. It is set in 2 acres of private garden and woodland. The dining room has a magnificent Italian ceiling and the fireplace is open with a 6 foot tall Georgian mirror. We have furnished the property with antiques in keeping with the house,,Every bedroom has a king size bed the furnishing and décor have been designer made for each individual room. All the en-suites are in the modern style.

We realise we are very fortunate to live in such a beautiful forest with all of its wild life. The clear skies at night ,and no air pollution .
