Information about the host

A simple relaxing small site with two yurts set amongst our smallholding. Our yurts are powered and lit with solar and plenty of batteries so you can charge phone etc if you chose to! Guests can enjoy many of the local attractions, Hadrian’s Wall, Lanercost Priory, Northumberland Dark Sky or the Lake District National Park and return to a comfortable cosy yurt. Our yurts have a raging wood burner for the colder nights or use your BBQ and eat outside on warm summer evenings. If you have booked the yurt with the hot tub, sit and watch the night sky reveal itself, it really is special given we are only a few miles from the Sill on Hadrian’s Wall which is a protected Dark sky area. Private compost toilet and shared shower with hot and cold running water. Breakfast and BBQ boxes include our own meat for you to cook how you like, using either your stove inside your yurt or the BBQ, help yourself to eggs from our chickens to complement your breakfast. Anyone who would like to feed the animals let us know and we will leave you with food to treat them.
