Located in the village of Heybridge, this purpose-built guest accommodation offers rooms with a private entrance and free Wi-Fi. Free private parking is available and Maldon town centre, with its famous centre for Thames sailing barges, is just a 5-minute drive from Hanson House.

Maldon’s promenade, with its pubs and cafés, is 1.5 miles from Hanson House. Chelmsford town centre can be reached after a 25-minute drive, whilst Colchester city centre is just a 30-minute drive away. Stansted Airport is 1 hour from the property, and private 24-hour airport transfers can be arranged at an extra cost.

Hanson House is situated in a semi rural location with the aim to offer our guests with peace & quite, without being to far off the beaten track, We chose Heybridge as it offers close links to the Business parks as well as the wedding Venus of Vaulty Manor & Braxted Park,. Its only just over a Mile into Maldon with its Bars & cafes and the famous promenade with the Thames Barges plus we are just over 2 miles to the Heybridge Basin with its coastal walks and Pubs plus the famous Tiptree Tea rooms. We offer a Continental Breakfast served in room which gives you the freedom to come and go as you please or have breakfast in bed. Both our rooms ( 1 Double & 1 Twin ) are situated in the purpose built Annexe in the Garden of the cottage which is accessed via a pathway to the side of the cottage which is all lights up when dark. Therefore you have your own front door plus you have your own seating area in the garden.

Heybrige has some lovely walks, via the canal to the Basin, then back via the coastal walk of the Blackwater, which takes about an hour, you have the walk via the nature reserve to Beeleigh Falls which takes along side the Maldon Golf Club. You have the Museum of Power, and the Famous Tiptree Jam factory just about twenty min drive away. We have two big Wedding Venues in Vaulty Manor, which is just 5 mins drive from us, plus Braxted Park which just 15 mins away.
