The 2 bedroom first floor property is situated in a very central location in Lerwick on the corner of St Olaf Street and Harbour Street within easy reach of all Lerwick's amenities. Fully fitted kitchen with all mod cons including a washer/dryer, oven, ceramic hob, larder fridge/freezer and a table with benches that can sit up to 6. Large sitting room with leather sofa, leather recliner, Smart TV, desk, DAB radio. Master Bedroom - King size bed, ample storage, full length mirror, Smart 32" TV, en-suite toilet with shower. Family bedroom - Double bed and single bed, storage. Both bedrooms have roman blinds and blackout curtains and are furnished with solid oak furniture. Family bathroom with bath and shower. Access to the apartment is via the buildings original spiral staircase which might prove difficult for anyone with mobility issues. All heating, electricity, wi-fi, towels and bed linen are included. The prominent corner location of our first floor apartment provides a great elevated vantage point from which to enjoy Lerwick's annual Up Helly Aa procession, as well as benefiting from a sunny southerly and westerly aspect. A 5-minute walk will take you onto Commercial Street, Lerwick's main shopping area and includes a host of cafes, restaurants, bars, banks, tourist office and gifts shops. In the other direction, a 5 minute walk will take you to Mareel, our cinema and music venue and the Shetland Museum & Archives. There are plenty of local grocers nearby and the supermarkets (Tesco & Co-op) are just a 5 minute drive away. For families, the apartment overlooks the King George V play park with the Jubilee Flower Park also nearby.
